Application Method

• Surface Preparation: Ensure the substrate (surface) is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or any loose particles. This is crucial for proper adhesion.
• Tools Needed:
  • • Notched trowel
    • Tile spacers
    • Level
    • Rubber mallet
    • Damp cloth
    • Measuring tape
    • Tile cutter or wet saw

• Mixing the Adhesive:

  • Pour 5 – 7 liters (as per the consistency you require) of cold or room temperature water into a bucket or a container and add the powder to the water while continuously stirring with a mixing paddle attached to a drill or a hand mixer until it reaches a smooth, lump-free consistency. Allow the mixture to rest for 5-10 minutes this helps the polymers in the adhesive to activate fully, after resting give the mixture a final stir before using it.

• Applying the Adhesive:
  • Use the notched side of the trowel to spread the adhesive evenly on the substrate. Apply it in one direction to ensure consistent coverage.
  • Cover only a small area at a time (enough to place a few tiles) to prevent the adhesive from drying out before you can set the tiles.
• Setting the Tiles:
  • Press the vitrified tiles firmly into the adhesive, starting from the bottom and working your way up.
  • Use tile spacers to maintain even gaps between the tiles.
  • Check the alignment with a level and make adjustments as needed.
  • Tap the tiles gently with a rubber mallet to ensure they are properly set.
• Cleaning Excess Adhesive:
  • Wipe off any excess adhesive on the tile surface with a damp cloth before it dries.
• Expansion Joints:
  • Provide expansion joints as needed to accommodate any movement in the substrate or tiles.
• Curing:
  • Allow the adhesive to cure for about 24 hours before grouting or exposing the tiles to water
